I haven’t seen Jonah Matranga in over a year, and he doesn’t have any upcoming shows and I’m reallllly itching to see him. Problem. If you’ve ever been to a Jonah show (at least one of the tiny ones where it’s just you and him and the rest of the small audience there pow-wowing) then you understand what an experience it is. He is one of the most truly genuine and sincere artists and going to his shows is like an exchange of life’s joys and pains and quirks through conversation between him and the audience, his stories and his music. No matter how you came in feeling, you leave happy, having been shown that it will all be okay- that it will all work out.

A nice perk of living in LA is that he plays around here a lot, I think this year alone I have seen him 6-7 times ha.
